RE: COVID – 19 UPDATE Stay Safe, Stay Home Executive Order
With the new Executive order that the Governor signed today, it is again having us change the way that we conduct business in general. We will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm as stated in our previous communication. We will not be opening the office doors at this time. We can accept payment from you through the door slot during these business hours by meeting you at the front door and getting your credit card, check or money order and returning to the door to give you a receipt. Please note that if you are paying by credit card, you can do so over the phone or online for no extra charge. Again, you will not be allowed in the office if you do come here in person to pay for your unit. Also, please note that during this time, we will be waiving all late fees from March 23rd until April 13th, when the Governor is to give us an update at that time. We will also be postponing all auctions until this new order has been removed. We will allow partial payments during this time to help our customers not get too far behind with their payments. Please note that you will still have 24-hour access to your unit as long as you are current on your bill. Stay safe! We look forward to seeing you all again.

Spring Storage tips from U-Lock-It Self Storage Belleville Spring is just around the corner, and I think we could all agree a little sunshine is much-needed. As flowers begin to bloom and migratory birds return, we’ll all want to spend more time outside. It’s time to start thinking about reorganizing your home to fit the change in season. Here at U-Lock-It Self Storage Belleville, we know that winter takes up a lot of space. From snow blowers to winter sweaters, our convenient and secure self-storage units offer the perfect answer to winter clutter. Keep in mind that spring is often peak season for self-storage, so we suggest if you live in the Ypsilanti, Belleville, or surrounding areas to book your storage units at U-Lock-It sooner rather than later. This way, you’ll be able to take advantage of our low rates, easy gate access, and friendly staff through the spring and summer months. Below are some suggestions on how self-storage can help with spring clutter! 1. College kids return home Students will be returning home from the dorms, and with them comes a lot of stuff. From couches to winter clothes, every family needs a secure place to store these items until the fall semester. Our secure self-storage units offer the perfect option for college students and save your home from getting cluttered over the summer. 2. A big move The housing market is usually in full gear come springtime, which is why people planning on moving in the coming months should book their storage units early. House closings can be unpredictable, and it’s best to have a secure storage unit to hold your stuff while you figure out your big move. 3. A new season Winter requires a lot of stuff! Just think of all the space your snowblower, shovels, etc. take up in your garage. A Belleville self-storage unit is a great way to declutter and make room for your spring yard tools. Store your winter clothes in plastic bins, so you have room for your spring and summer clothes. Here at U-Lock-It Self Storage Belleville, we won’t raise rates on you just because it’s the busy season. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated business that keeps our prices affordable. That being said, reserve your unit early, so you are prepared for the warmer months. Call us today for availability! |
